An honest customer
Yesterday, Thomas Atkinis went into Harpids Art Gallery at the end of the afternoon. He wanted to buy a present for his mother. It was nearly closing time and owner John Tranvers was counting the money. Quickly Thomas chose a small picture and Mr Tranvers wraped it for him. While he was waitung for his bus, Thomas decided to look at the picture again. In the parcel he found $500 in cash as well as picture. He ran back to shop. It was closed so Thomas looked throught the window. John Transvers was searching under the counter, and his assistants was looking in all the cupboards and drawers. 'I knocked on the window and waved the money at them' say Thomas. 'I was so happy', said Mr Tranvers. 'It's wonderful to know that there are honest people like Thomas'.
