The painting "The Scream" was painted by Edvard Munch in 1910. It's an abstract painting that shows us what was the feeling in Germany at the begining of the century.
Edvard used oil for paint this painting. He used dark colours to paint all the canvas, but at the top, he painted the sky whit the shinest colour of the painting, but it was a dark yellow. The man who is scared in the foreground makes the viewer think that is an abstract painting like the river and the rest of the canvas.
I think that this painting is one of the most sad paintings that I have ever seen because it has a sad atmosphere and the main character of this masterprice scares me a little bit.
